Having worked in the spa and wellness industry for more than 25 years, the connection between mind and body and integrated personalised wellness has been my focus throughout my career.
I was very fortunate to begin my career in a 5 star hotel initially working as a spa therapist and progressed to managing several 5 star spas in the UK and overseas.
I was offered the opportunity to become international trainer for a highly respected, world leading spa brand providing training and support for many spas in several countries as well as the UK.
I began practicing yoga 15 years ago, initially for the physical benefits and to help reduce the seemingly ever-present backache attributed to scoliosis and posture.
I noticed that after practicing yoga I would always sleep better too. With a combination of irregular working patterns and long hours together with work stresses, I often found it difficult to mentally switch off at the end of the day and create a regular sleep pattern, leaving me feeling fatigued and struggling to concentrate during the day resulting in more stress and anxiety.
I consider myself very lucky to have been able to undertake my yoga therapy training in India and I would like to share the therapeutic benefits of yoga with others to help them to move better, breathe better, sleep better and feel better.
This can be achieved through my personalised 1-2-1 yoga therapy sessions and friendly group yoga classes and complemented with my collection of remedial and holistic face and body treatments.
Whether you have niggling aches and pains, struggling with high stress levels or lacking in sleep, get in touch to found out how Yoga Therapy can help you get back to feeling like you again.
